In recent years, the biggest issue of W D M system is in increasing its bandw idth. Transmission bandw idth o f W D M m ay be lim ited by m any kinds o f com ponent, and the bandw idth plays im potent role in most o f all optical am plifiers. Transmission bandw idth o f recent W D M is lim ited in about 40 nm . This lim it depends on E D F A (E r+3-Doped Fiber A m plifier) gain bandw idth. To overcome this problem , we m ay use L and S band using Y b /N d doped fiber am plifier. W ideband am plifier, w hich is consisted o f R F A for L band and E D F A for M band using single pum p laser diode, is presented. The am plifiers have been analyzed num erically for the design.
