1차 선행 연구에서 항만물류 허브의 경쟁력을 구성하는 요인을 입지특성으로 새롭게 정의하였고, 두만강 지역을 대상으로 입지특성이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 Multi-Group(복수 집단)인 한국과 중국의 전문가 그룹 간 비교를 통해 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 기존 선행연구의 Multi-Group(복수 집단) 분석을 Multi-Location(복수 입지) 분석으로 확장하여 항만물류 허브의 입지특성이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 교차 분석하는 연구의 틀을 제시하였다. 실증적 분석을 위해 동북아 경제협력의 중심인 두만강 지역과 중국 동북지역 항만물류 허브인 대련 지역을 선정하여 중국 물류전문가의 응답에 대해 두 지역 간 비교 분석하였다. 구조방정식 모형의 분석 결과, 입지특성 요인이 물류성과에 미치는 영향이 두 지역 간 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 마지막으로 두만강 지역의 개발 필요성을 강조하고, 한국 정부와 기업의 두만강 지역의 진출 전략에 대한 실무적인 시사점을 제공하였다.
This paper offered the framework that can analyze the influence of location characteristics of hub ports on the logistics performance for multi-group and multi-location cases. Empirically we selected Tumen River and Dalian areas, which Tumen River area is the center of the economic cooperation in north-eastern Asia and Dalian is the hub port of the north-eastern region in China and compared two regions for the responses of the logistics experts in China. Using structural equation model derived in the our previous research, the influence of the logistics characteristics was significantly different between two regions. Finally we emphasized the necessities to develop Tumen River area and suggested the practical implications on how Korean government and companies can approach the region strategically. In our previous study, we newly defined the factors comprising the competitiveness of hub ports as location characteristics and analyzed the influences of location characteristics of Tumen River area on its logistics performance comparing the expert groups of Korea and China.
