스크립트활용 중재가 자폐성 장애유아의 언어적 의사소통에 미치는 영향

The Effects of the Script Intervention on Verbal Communications Emitted by a Preschooler with ASD

본 연구는 스크립트활용 중재가 자폐성 장애유아의 언어적 의사소통에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 자폐성 장애유아 1명을 대상으로 자유선택활동과 바깥놀이활동에서 상황간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 유아의 필요와 흥미에 따라 스크립트를 작성한 뒤 중재를 실시하였으며, 언어적 의사소통은 의사소통의 기능에 따라 수용, 승인, 사물요구하기 및 정보 제공하기로 분류하였다. 자료 분석은 빈도기록법을 사용하였으며 각 언어적 의사소통은 통합하여 측정하였다. 측정된 자료는 시각적 분석을 하였으며 비중복비율(PND)과 개선율차이(IRD)를 활용하여 중재의 효과를 확인하였다. 관찰자간 신뢰도를 통해 관찰 기록의 신뢰도를 입증하였다. 관찰자간 신뢰도는 96.8%로 나타나났으며, 연구의 중재충실도는 100%로 나타났다. 본 연구의 사회적 타당도는 중재 척도 프로파일(IRP-15)을 활용하여 산출하였으며, 구체적인 중재수용도는 74.3점으로 수용가능한 중재로 나타났다. PND를 통해 산출된 중재의 효과는 효과적인 수준의 중재효과로 나타났으며, IRD를 통해 산출된 중재의 효과는 효과적인 수준의 중재효과로 나타났다.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of script intervention on verbal communications by a preschooler with autism spectrum disorder. One male preschool student diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder participated in this study. A multiple probe design across settings was employed to identify a potential relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The independent variable of this study was the implementation of the script intervention which consisted of 10-min repetitive instruction and role play sessions. The dependent variable was the number of participant’s verbal communications during target settings: free play and outside recess. The results depicts that the script intervention would be effective to increase the frequency of verbal communications of a student with ASD.
