발달장애인 가정의 가족기능성이 어머니의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향

The Effect of family functioning of families with developmental disordered children on mothers psychological well-being : focusing on the mediation effect of social support

본 연구는 발달장애인 가정의 가족기능성이 어머니의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 가족기능성이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 발달장애 자녀를 둔 어머니 343명의 설문 자료를 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발달장애인 가정의 가족기능성은 사회적 지지에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 발달장애아동 가정의 가족기능성은 어머니의 심리적 안녕감에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 발달장애인 가정의 가족기능성이 어머니의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지는 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 발달장애인 가정의 가족기능성과 사회적 지지는 어머니의 심리적 안녕감에 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인임이 확인되었다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of family functioning of families with developmental disordered children on mothers psychological well-being, and examine whether social support had a mediation effect between two variables. In order to fulfill the purpose, the survey was conducted with 343 mothers having children with developmental disorders. The results founded by using confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling are as follows: First, family functioning of families with developmental disordered children influenced positively social support. Second, family functioning of families with developmental disordered children had a positive effect on mothers psychological well-being. Third, family functioning of families with developmental disordered children directly influenced mothers psychological well-being and its effect was indirectly mediated by social support that their friends, relatives, and professional groups provided. The results verified that family functioning of families with developmental disordered children and social support were the important factors which significantly influenced on mothers psychological well-being.
