자폐 범주성 장애 학생의 자기관리 전략 사용에 대한 국내외 연구 고찰

Research Trends on Self-management for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

자기관리 전략은 학생의 특정 행동을 변화시키거나 유지하기 위해 고안된 방법으로 장애 학생의 독립성을 증진시키는 주요 전략의 하나로 주목받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자폐 범주성 장애 학생을 대상으로 실시된 자기관리 전략 관련 국내외 연구를 고찰하여 그 동향을 알아보고 현장에서의 적용 방법 및 성과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 2000년이후에 출간된 국내외 자폐 범주성 장애 학생의 자기관리 관련 문헌을 검색하였으며, 그 결과 국내 연구 5편과 국외연구 19편 총 24편의 논문을 선정하였다. 선정된 논문을 대상으로 먼저 연구의 전반적인 동향을 살펴본 후 연구 참여자, 중재 환경 및 참여자, 독립변인, 종속변인, 실험설계의 질적 요인을 중심으로 분석하였다. 마지막으로 분석 결과에 따른 자폐 범주성 장애 학생의 자기관리 전략에 대한 시사점을 논의하고 향후 발전 방안에 대하여 제언하였다.

Self-management strategies for students with disabilities have drawn attention not only as an effective method to change or maintain target behaviors but also as a means to empower students’ self-determination. The purpose of this study is to investigate research trends on self-management for students with autism spectrum disorders(ASD) by reviewing domestic and abroad literature. In this article, 24 studies(5 domestic studies and 19 abroad studies) published from 2000 to 2011 were selected. Thorough the process of analyzing studies, overall research trends on self-management of ASD were reported first, and then types of student participants, settings, other participants, independent variables, dependent variables, and quality factor of experimental design were examined. At last, implications for further research extending the instruction of self-management procedures to students with ASD was discussed.
