일본 법과대학원의 교과과정과 교육방법론에 관한 연구

A Study of Curriculums and Teaching Method Theories in the Law School of Japan

In April, 2004, Japan introduced an American typed law school system, which specializes in administrative work, in order to meet the demand for national law services complicated and various and cultivate the legal professionals internationally competitive. At present, Korean government is making positive efforts in importing the law school system in an attempt to meet the surroundings at home and abroad in a way of educational innovation. This paper was focussed on surveying the comprehensive system(design), status and characteristics of the laws supporting Japanese typed law school, and on the basis of it, reviewing the composition of curriculum and teaching method theories as an education program for legal professionals under a new law school system. In particular, this paper showed the curriculums and teaching methods of Koyto Law School and Chuo Law School, trying to help understand the essence of Law Schools operated presently in Japan. To conclude, this study aimed at finding the new suggestions in the law school system promoted by Korean government with many arguments by analyzing how the aims that Japan tried to achieve through law schools were reflected.
