This paper investigates how ODA, foreign direct investment (FDI), and import and export trade affect the economic development of Mongolia and Central Asia. Empirical analysis based on data from 1995 to 2015 shows that official development assistance (ODA) affects Mongolia’s economic growth only and has a significant effect on five Central Asian countries. However, foreign direct investment (FDI) has been found to have a significant impact on economic growth in all Central Asian and Mongolian countries, and it has been confirmed that trade variables among the six countries used in the analysis have a positive effect only on Uzbekistan. Based on the results of this empirical analysis, we can find out that foreign direct investment into Central Asia and Mongolia has been introduced to develop mineral resources, but now it is time to suggest that the information communication technology should be improved in geopolitics do. Or foreign direct investment inflows, as well as public development aid funds, can improve the system to efficiently manage huge land through the construction of information and communication technology infrastructures, and draws implications for urgent times in Central Asia and Mongolia.
