The revitalization of the Fintech industry is an important research topic that has recently attracted the attention of researchers. However, one way for consumers to use Fintech service has received relatively little attention from researchers in general in comparison with suppliers. It is an important issue for SMEs facing a poor management environment in areas such as funding, manpower, and sales channels. as these SMEs would be able to secure a new growth engine through the Fintech platform. Through the Fintech platform, SMEs and micro-SMEs can benefit in terms of financial aspects such as via settlement (electronic money), remittance abroad, hedging, financing (loan and capital) and securitization of accounts receivable. In terms of marketing aspects, it is expected that competitiveness from utilizing O2O (online to offline) and overseas reverse direct-purchase will be boosted. However, it is difficult to propagate its usage due to the lack of consumers awareness of Fintech and the economic burden of building infrastructure. Thus, in this study, we propose practical ways for activating FinTech on the consumer side namely, to build a network to share information between suppliers and consumers, provide educational programs and consulting for FinTech consumer, to generate funding for Fintech start-ups that improves the competitive edge of SMEs and support the cost of building Fintech infrastructure.
