Technological Changes and Improvement of Net Exports in the Korean Food and Beverage Processing Industry

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the effects of technological changes on net-export improvements in the Korean food and beverage processing industry using panel data. The index of technology level is constructed by factor analysis. The empirical results show that the technological variable as well as the conventional inputs like labor and capital has important meanings in improving net-exports the Korean food and beverage processing industry.
