This study made in-depth analysis of how Manufacturing Execution System (MES) introduction factors (perceptional, information system, organizational, and environmental factors) affected management performance of small and medium businesses. This is both because awareness of what introduction factors affect management performance can motivate companies to introduce MES and because MES introduction is expected to lead to successful management performance. In this study, manufacturers that had introduced MES or planned to introduce it were analyzed. The hypotheses were tested for the data from the survey in a total of 114 companies. The results showed that the perceptional, organizational, and environmental factors significantly affected management performance. The information system factors made no significant difference. It can be said that this study obtained results not quite different from the existing ones. This is because as for the effects of the introduction of management information processing systems, including ERP, on management performance, the existing studies found that the four types of introduction factors, including perceptional ones, positively affected management performance. From these results, theoretical and practical implications were drawn.

I. Introduction

II. Theoretical Background

III. Methods

IV. Conclusion
