Through t his study. 1 found out the academic conclusion about the ap pearance and development process of trading company in Korea In short, the late Chosun which was still under the feudal system which was enforced by the nationa1 protection po!icy, finally 、N ent through modernization We know that the rnoderruzation which was quite late comparing with Japan con tinuously forced and maintained by the ]apan Empire and the colonial policy negatively affected the appearance of independent-self- funded trading companies Especially in this study, 1 pointed out the fact big trading conglomerates and Jaebol after under the Japaoese imperialistic rule worked 00 the artificial factor suppressed the appearance and growth of national trading company which had rela tively Also, 1 stressed on t his situation in Korea the General Trading Company such as io Japao became the possibility of obstructing to create and develop spontaneously
