A Study on the Activities in Textile Industry after the Liberation in Korea

This article discusses the Activities of the Korean Engineers in textile industry after the Liberation in Korea Previous studies the Korean economy explained that the Korean did not fill up a technology gap after the Liberation. And the gap filled up by Foreign Aids, that is, it was hardly found an independent effort of the Korean This study does not compromise with these previous claims ‘ First, the Korean Engineers who worked since the J apanese Co100ial Period improved their ability and operated Large Scale Cotton Textile Factories after the Lberation. Most of them graduated from Kyeongseong Higher Industrial Schoo and worked Kyungseong Spinning CompanY which belongs to Korean. Second, the Korean Engineers enlarged and reorganized a research institute. They tried to have a technical improvement and founded a research institution And they tried to catch up with a worldwide up• to-date-technology and formed orgarnzation for technical improvernenl. Third, The Korean En밍neers made an effort to spread their technique. There fo re they opened a short courses depending on several grade and published some ∞oks and educated at an educational institution
