A simulation model of interaction between the oriental fruit moth subsystem and the Asian pear tree subsystem is presented. Laboratory and field experiments provide the basis for validation of the model. Pesticide control scheme is introduced, and optimal control for a producer is achieved by using a numerical optimization technique.
