스페인어 교육에 있어 문화 교육의 문제

Analysis of high school Hispanic culture textbook

This paper aims to analyse a high school textbook, Hispanic culture , as the representative sample of the culture-oriented Spanish textbook for the secondary education. This work also aims to design a new and more effective teaching/learning material for the Spanish culture class. For this reason, first we will investigate whether its constitution is reasonably correspondent to the plans of the 7th National Curriculum, because it is necessary to improve teaching/learning methods in order to promote the successful settlement of the 7th National Curriculum, focusing on the development of 21st century students self-direction and creativity. Secondly we will check if the contents of the textbook are well organized to realize the theory of communicative language teaching and learning , because the purpose of teaching language culture is to acquire and aware the target language s culture as way of life. Culture is very important in enhancing the language-acquisition ability. So textbooks must be organized with contents of culture connected to the real people s feelings, attitudes and values rather than with those which transmit a simple knowledge of culture or a simple information about culture.
