In this article surveyed are contentedly typical examples of Korean native speaker s transference of national habits of speech behavior to the expanse of Russian speaking. The phenomenon of interference, as many academic studies have shown, may appear in every level of language, including speech etiquette. Speech behavior of Russians differs from that of Koreans with respect to their choice of address forms to interlocutor, their appeal to his attention, the relationship between speakers, and other spheres of relationships. These differences are reflected due to customs and traditions of these two nations. The elements of speech etiquette are so deeply rooted that language-consciousness perceives them as part of natural, regular, and everyday behaviors. The lack of speech etiquette, as a result, not fulfillment of it, is sometimes perceived by a listener not only as speaker s intention of insulting him, but as his ill breeding. The cases we examined and analyzed in this article, the transference of national rules of behavior and speech etiquette in the expanse of communication of different cultures, clearly show that this speech practice leads inevitably to communication failure, and therefore, the partners of communication experience unpleasantness. Thus, in the process of teaching and/or studying foreign languages, it is necessary to pay more attention to national characteristics of the rules of behavior and speech etiquette in order to level out the linguistic-cultural interference.
