장기요양필요노인 주부양자들의 서비스이용유형 결정요인에 관한 연구

A Study on the Determinants of Care Service Type Selection: Focused on the Caregivers Using Home Care Service for the Long-term Care Qualified Elderly

본 연구는 장기요양필요노인 주부양자들이 다양한 부양부담에도 불구하고 시설입소서비스를 선택하지 않고 방문요양서비스에 머물러 있는 요인을 살펴보고, 향후 시설입소서비스 이용전망에 관한 주부양자들의 인식유형을 탐색함으로써 궁극적으로 주부양자들의 요양서비스 이용유형 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 방문요양서비스를 이용하고 있는 주부양자들을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하고, 질적 접근으로 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 방문요양서비스 이용을 지속하게 하는 요인은 ‘노인 특성 요인’, ‘부양자 요인’, ‘가족주의 요인’, 방문요양 도움정도 , 요양시설에 대한 생각 이라는 범주로 구분되었다. 또한 이러한 맥락 속에서 향후 장기요양시설 입소여부에 대한 주부양자들의 인식 유형을 ‘절대 불가 형’, ‘관조형’, ‘포기형’으로 구분할 수 있었다.

This study examined why the caregivers continued to use home care service for the long-term care qualified elderly in spite of big care burden compared to nursing home service. In addition, the determinants of care service type selection were analyzed by examining caregivers recognition patterns of future prospect of using nursing home service. The participants of caregivers using home care service were interviewed in-depth, and the data was analyzed by qualitative method. As a result, the determinants that made caregivers continue to use home care service were grouped as follows: elderly characteristic factors , caregivers factors , familism factors , benefits of home care service , and viewpoint of nursing home care service . In these context, their opinions about using nursing home in the future were distinguished into groups of absolutely not , someday possible , and no idea .
