한국 직업변천사의 시대별 특성 비교분석에 관한 탐색적 연구

The Exploratory Research on a Comparative Analysis of the History of Vocational Transformation by the Period

본 연구는 해방이후 급격한 전개과정을 거쳐온 한국 직업변천사를 종합적·체계적으로 고찰, 분석하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 해방이후 한국직업사는 각 시대의 산업환경과 전환기적 사건에 의해 명멸을 거듭해온 만큼 접근방법 또한 시대별 직업세계를 창출시 킨 산업환경의 요인분석과 직업의 태생학적 메커니즘을 분석하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 해방이후 70년간 전개되어온 한국의 직업변천사의 특징과 시사점을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국의 직업변천사는 시대별 산업환경과 산업특성을 반영하고 있다. 둘째, 한국의 직업변천사와 산업변천사 간에는 상호 유기적 관계를 형성하고 있다. 셋째, 한국의 직업변천사는 전환기적 사건과 요인에 따라서 양태와 특징을 달리하고 있다. 넷째, 한국의 직업변천사는 시대별 산업구조와 고용구조를 읽을 수 있는 척도이다. 다섯째, 한국의 직업변천사는 시대별 직업인들의 속성과 직업의 사회적 입지를 나타내고 있다. 본 연구는 해방이후(1945) 현재(2009)까지 산업환경과 맞물려 전개과정을 거쳐온 직업세계를 시대별로 상호 비교분석하여 그 현황과 추이, 양태와 특징을 체계적으로 파악할 수 있도록 접근했다. 이는 해방이후 전개되어온 한국직업사를 시대별·산업별·직업별·특징 별로 체계화시킨다는 의미와 더불어 향후 보다 발전된 직업세계와 직업문화를 유인하고 정착시키는 데 필요한 사적 직업자료와 직업정보를 동시에 구축해준다는 목적도 함께 내포하고 있다.

This research aims at analyzing comprehensively and systematically the history of vocational transformation in Korea that has been developed dramatically since the liberalization of Korea. The history of vocational transformation in Korea has been influenced by the industrial environment and epoch-making events of each period. Its approach, therefore, has focused on analyzing the factors of industrial environments and the embryological mechanism of vocations. The features of the history of vocational transformation in Korea which has been developed over the 70 years and its implications are as follows. First, the history of vocational transformation in Korea reflects its industrial environment and features. Second, the history of vocational transformation and industry transformation in Korea is linked in an organic way with each other. Third, the history of vocational transformation in Korea has its corresponding patterns and features according to the epoch-making events and factors. Fourth, the history of vocational transformation in Korea is a measure that can read industrial structure and employment structure. Fifth, the history of vocational transformation in Korea represents the attributes and social positions of vocation. This research cross-analyzes the world of vocations that has been developed with an interaction with industrial environment from 1945 to 2009 and presents its current status, progress, patterns and features. It is a meaningful task not only to systematize the history of vocational transformation in Korea by the period, industry, vocation, and features, but also to construct historical vocational data and vocational information necessary for establishing vocational world and culture.
