This study targets immigrant women living in Busan. They were surveyed about hairstyle behavior and decision factors in selecting a hair salon. The conclusions were as follows: General characteristics were that they had two children, an allowance of less than 300 thousand, and 3-5 years as an immigrant, in most cases. They rent their home and mostly come from Vietnam. Second, the younger ages used a hair salon one time followed by every 2-3 months; the usual expense was 20-50 thousand won. To manage their image, straight-perm seemed more popular to younger women; wave perm and dye for white hair seemed more popular to older women. The price and technique to the hair salon were not considered as important factors while choosing a hair salon according to the length of residence. The service to the hair salon was considered as important factors while choosing a hair salon according to the length of residence. Based on these findings, married immigrant women have an interest in popular hairstyles as they get used to Korean culture. It may be seen as a willingness to fit into Korea society or culture. An increasing number of foreign women should be recognized as potential customers in the beauty industry. Thus, we should develop a variety of service programs for them.
