At present, the objective of the Korean literary education which is a part of the education of Korean in China is mostly to develop language skills and to disseminate cultural knowledge, using chalk talk for the most part. However the essential function of literature which begins from the ancient world is therapy, and I think literature education should add the objective of helping learners dimension their personality. According to the current situation and problem of Korean literary education in China, this article firstly observes the research results of education scheme for literature therapy of literary education in Korea and probes the possibilities and value of literary therapy education for Korean Literary Education in China. Next this article presents how to use the theories and methods of literary therapy to educate, concentrating on the rite of passage in tangun myth, and finally get the target for learners psychological growth. Of course, this methodwhich uses the theory of literary therapy is somewhat restrictive. But thisarticle opened up new realms for investigation which I believe, will complement and perfect the Korean literary didactics.
