低水溫期 光陽灣의 有機汚濁 現象에 대하여

On the organic pollution of the inner part of Kwangyang bay in lower temperature seasons

The samples of bottom sea-water and surface sediment for the analytic organic pollution were obtained at 21 stations of the inner part of Kwangyang Bay in October 1991 and January 1992. We surveyed the chemical factors for surface sediment such as mud temperature, chemical oxygen demand (COD), sulfide (H₂S), Ignition loss (IL) and the grain size as well as physicochemical factors for bottom sea-water such as water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen (DO), COD and chlorophyll a (Chl-a). As the results of field survey and principal component analysis (PAC), the inner part of Kwangyang Bay in which organic sources dumping have been doing out of offshore industrials and coastal towns made differences from the seasons and the coastal regions. And the inner part of Kwangyang Bay was separated with 3 regions by the characteristics of organic pollution with PCA. They are as follows; Ⅰ region was characterized by the input of town organic sources, Ⅱ region by the input of industrial organic sources and Ⅲ region where the organic sources tent to be acumulated by the mixed region of the Ⅰ and Ⅱ regions.
