The Efficaciousness of Spiritual Training as Church Social Work Program: Spiritual Retreat

본 논문은 다일공동체의 영성수련 프로그램 1단계 ‘아름다운 세상 찾기’에 참석한 사람들이 기록한 후기와 설문을 바탕으로 양적조사를 통하여 그들에게 일어난 내적인 변화의 경험을 제시한 연구이다. 이 조사의 결과를 통하여 먼저, 참여자들은 영성수련 과정에 대하여 높은 만족도를 보여주었으며, 둘째로, 조사를 통하여 이 영성훈련이 개인에게 자기 자신에 대한 관점과 세상에 대한 생각이 긍정적으로 높아졌다는 사실을 발견하였다. 셋째로, 하나님, 이웃, 가족, 그리고 자신과의 관계에 대하여 모두 긍정적으로 변화되는데 기여한 것으로 평가할 수 있었다. 특별히 용서할 수 없었던 사람들을 이 수련의 과정을 통하여 용서할 수 있게 되었다는 사실은 이 영성수련 프로그램이 관계의 회복에 큰 영향을 미쳤다는 것을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다.

This thesis will be about a study of the experience of the internal change of the people who attended ‘Finding the Beautiful World’, the first stage of Dail spiritual training program. The study is based on the quantitative inquiry of the postscript and survey of the people after the training. As a result of the survey , first of all, the participants showed great satisfaction with the training program. Second, through quantitative inquiry, it was possible to see the perspective and idea of oneself and the world has changed positively after the training. Third, the training could be evaluated as it attributed to the participants to become positive toward God, neighbour, family and themselves. It is clear that this spiritual training had great impact on the participants by seeing them forgiving their most unforgivable people in their lives throughout the training.
