Economic feasibility analysis after building-up of marine fishing park

The purpose of this study is to undertake the economic analysis on the construction of the marine fishing park facilities through the benefit cost analysis. For the above-mentioned purpose, this study is based on the instruction of the preliminary feasibility study of the SOC facilities to undertake the benefit cost analysis on the marine fishing park construction. As a result of the analysis, if the admission fee is KRW 20,533, it would reach to the break even point. In addition, as a result of undertaking the sensitivity analysis with the social discount rate, admission fee, number of visitors, fluctuation of construction fees and others with respect to the construction of the fishing park, the economic benefit would be available of the visitors for the increase of 75% at the admission fee of KRW 12,000 and the increase 50% at the admission fee of KRW 18,000. In the meantime, as a result of financial analysis on the investment of private enterprises, if the admission fee exceeds KRW 8,492, it would make the profit. In particular, in the event of setting forth the costs invested in the fishing park construction to be charged for reclamation, the profit is generated at the admission fee of KRW 5,747. However, the above analysis was obtained only when the analysis on monetary value alone that, in the event of considering the monetary costs on the non-market value of the future, the break even point of economic value is expected to be lowered substantially.
