목포 고하도 주변 해역의 계절별 해황 특성

Seasonal variations of temperature, salinity, transparency and water color around Koha is. of Mokpo in the southwestern coast of Korea

Temperature, salinity, transparency and water colour observations were carried out around Koha Is. of Mokpo, southwestern coast of Korea in April, July and October 1995. Temperature ranges 12.3~14.6℃ in April, 21.3~24.5℃ in July and 19.1~20.2℃ in October. In July, the offshore cool water flow in around Koha Is. at ebb tide and the coastal warm water flow out at flood tide. Vertical and horizontal changes of salinity are larger than its seasonal changes. Density distributions show a tendency to coincide with the salinity changes. Transparency and water colour around Koha Is. are changed with tidal changes much more than those seasonal changes.
