A Study on Skin Efficacy of Skin Cosmetics and Nano Cosmetics

This study was performed among 75 women in their 30s living in Seoul and Gyeonggi twice a week from May 1, 2017 to June 19, 2017(10 times in total). The purpose of this study is to compare and compare the change of skin condition through skin cosmetic devices and nano cosmetics which are effective for skin improvement. The results found the following: First, in terms of subjective skin conditions by demographic characteristics, no significant differences were found between the groups. Second, according to an analysis on changes in moisture levels, moisture significantly increased(F=11.975, p<.05) when the skincare device was used. In terms of sebum, in contrast, no significant changes were observed(F=.931, p>.05). In skin roughness, it significantly decreased when the skincare device was applied(F=13.776, p<.01). Third, after the experiment, satisfaction was high in moisture levels, sebum conditions and skin roughness(p<.01) in the group in which a skincare device was used(p<.001). Regarding recommendations to acquaintances and continuous care, in addition, positive effects were found. It appears that the study results can be used in improving the effects of diverse skin measurement and improvement efforts. However, it is necessary to examine the effects of dietary/life habits and living environment & conditions as well as genetic effects and compare relative influences.
