The purpose of this study is to investigate the nature of labor dispute in the forming period. of the Japanese monopolistic capital and to examine how its nature make an influence on the continuation and development of firms. The three suggestions which are obtained from the study are summarized as follows : The first, the nature of Japanese labor movement is related to the problem of labor personality to be the fundamental human right rather than one of ideology. The ideological labor movement in Japan continue to reduce because such nature is disregarded, In fact, ‘Sohyo’ which is a large labor union is disappeared in 19908 be cause it does not consider the labor personality. The second, The success and failure of management in firms depend on how they recognize the labor personality and accept the problem which occurs to the ignorance of its personality. This helps to raise the individual need of cooperation and is thought to be an important subject in the management theory afterwards. The third, the labor movement for the period of monopolistic capital formation utilizes the method of collective bargaining against the owner’s strong control for the firms. The result for this is that the loose control for them is introduced into the authoritative control system. In this respect, it is not overestimated that this situation should make an motivation to create the industrial democracy in Japan.
