영유아 어머니의 불안정 성인애착과 양육스트레스의 관계에서 결혼만족도의 매개 및 조절효과

Mediating and Moderating Effects of Marital Satisfaction on the Relationship between Insecure Adult Attachment and Maternal Stress in Mothers of Infants

본 연구의 목적은 영유아의 어머니의 불안-회피형 성인애착, 양육스트레스와의 상관관계를 살펴보고 결혼만족도의 매개 및 조절효과를 검증하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 2017년 2월 1일부터 2월14일까지 부산광역시와 경상남도에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집에 현재 재원중인 만 1-5세 영유아 어머니 250명을 연구대상으로 성인애착검사, 결혼만족도 척도, 한국판 부모양육스트레스검사를 이용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 첫째, 불안-회피형 성인애착 경향이 높은 영유아 어머니일수록 자녀양육에 대한 스트레스가 높고 결혼만족도가 낮게 나타났다. 또한 자녀양육에 대한 스트레스가 높을수록 결혼만족도가 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 영유아 어머니의 불안-회피형 성인애착이 양육스트레스에 직접적으로 영향을 주는 것보다 불안-회피형 성인애착이 결혼 만족도를 매개로 하여 양육스트레스에 간접적으로 영향을 주는 것이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 결혼만족도가 높을수록 양육스트레스는 줄어들지만, 영유아 어머니의 불안-회피형 성인애착이 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향이 결혼만족도의 수준에 따라 달라지지는 않는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the correlations between the anxious-avoidant adult attachment and maternal stress of mothers with infants and/or preschoolers. The subjects in this study were 250 selected mothers whose children were attending kindergartens and daycare centers in the city of Busan and South Gyeongsang Province. Their children who were in infancy and early childhood were at the western ages of 1 to 5. A survey was conducted from February 1 to 14, 2017, with three different inventories that were an adult attachment inventory, a marital satisfaction scale and a Korean version of parenting stress inventory. First, the mothers whose children were disposed to have a stronger anxious-avoidant adult attachment were under heavier parenting stress and were less satisfied with their marriage. And the mothers who were more stressed out over parenting were less satisfied with their marriage. Second, the anxious-avoidant adult attachment of the mothers exercised a larger influence on parenting stress in an indirect way through the medium of marital satisfaction than in a direct one. Third, stronger marital satisfaction led to lower parenting stress, but how much the anxious-avoidant adult attachment of the mothers affected their parenting stress didn t vary with the level of marital satisfaction.
