사회복지 현장실습에서의 학습경험이 실습에 대한 인식을 매개로 사회복지실천 효능감에 미치는 영향

The effects of the learning experiences at the social work field placement on social work self-efficacy

본 연구는 Bandura의 사회인지이론에 기초하여 사회복지 현장실습에서의 학습경험(직접적 성취 경험, 모델링, 언어적 피드백)이 사회복지실천 효능감에 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 이 과정을 실습에 대한 학생들의 인식이 매개하는지 검증하였다. 층화집락표집 방법을 사용해 전국의 35개 4년제 대학을 추출하였고, 추출된 대학교에서 사회복지를 전공하고 있는 4학년 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 1,214부의 응답지에 대해 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 실습에서 자신에게 주어지는 과업들을 잘 성취하는 직접적인 경험, 귀감이 될 만한 훌륭한 슈퍼바이저를 통한 모델링 경험, 그리고 지지적이고 긍정적인 피드백을 받는 경험 모두 실습에 대한 평가를 매개로 사회복지실천 효능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 직접적 성취는 실습에 대한 실습생의 인식을 매개로 하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미치지만 사회복지실천 효능감에 직접적인 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 모델링과 긍정적 피드백은 매개효과만을 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지실천 효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 사회복지 현장실습 교육에 관한 실천적, 이론적 함의를 논의하였다.

Based on the Social cognitive theory by Bandura, the present study examined the effects of the learning experiences-enactive mastery experience, modeling(vicarious experience), verbal persuasion-at social work field placement on social work self-efficacy, and the mediating effect of student s perception or satisfaction on the process. Using a stratified cluster sampling method, we selected 35 4-year colleges nationwide, and implemented a survey to senior students majoring social work from the selected colleges. A total of 1,214 response data was used for data analysis using structural equation modeling. The results showed that enactive mastery experiences of achieving tasks given to them in the field placement, modeling experiences through excellent supervisors who became role models, and the experiences of receiving supportive and positive feedback about the possibility becoming competent social workers all affect the social work self-efficacy through the mediator, the student s perception(satisfaction) on his/her field placement. Enactive mastery was found to have direct effects on social work self-efficacy as well as having an indirect effect that is mediated by the students perception on the field placement. Modeling and positive feedback were confirmed to only have the mediating effect. Based on the results, we discuss the practical and theoretical implications of social work field placement education, which in turn increases social work self-efficacy.
