미분적분학 교과목 개선을 위한 학습자 선수학습 이해도 조사

Previous Learning Understanding Investigation of Learners for Improvement of Differential and Integral Subject

빠른 사회변화에 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 수학적 소양을 갖춘 인재 양성을 위해 교수자 스스로 그 동안의 지도 방법에 대한 변화의 필요성을 느끼게 되어 이 연구를 계획하였다. 오랜 시간 누적되어 온 다양한 교수-학습 방법들의 적용에도 불구하고 효과적이라고 말할 수 없는 이유를 교수의 학습자에 대한 이해부족으로 판단하고 학습자들의 배움의 정도, 수학을 느끼는 정도의 차이 등을 설문을 통해 조사하고 분석하였다. 이 논문은 2017학년도 1학기 C 대학교 미분적분학 강의 중 6개 학과 학생 206명의 사전 테스트 결과를 정리한 것이며, 나타난 결과를 통하여 수업의 질을 개선하고, 학습자들의 문제해결 능력향상에 도움을 줄 방법들을 제시하였다.

The research has been planned under the necessity of a change in previous teaching methods in order to foster an outstanding individual with mathematical ability who can elastically deal with the fast-changing world. The research gives out a hypothesis that the previous inefficient teaching methods, even though they have been accumulated for a long time is rooted in instructor’s insufficient understanding towards a learner. Thus, the research has examined and analyzed the extent of which a learner understands a level of a certain mathematics study and their different feelings towards mathematics. The dissertation has arranged the pre test result of 206 C University students from six different departments who had taken Calculus lecture in their first semester. The study further suggests helpful methods to improve the class as well as the problem-solving ability of the learners.
