The purpose of this study was to investigate how the character education activity based on cooperative activity has an effect on the prospective taking and the emotional intelligence of young children. This study included 50 5-year-old young children and the prospective taking and the emotional intelligence were tested after the subjects performed the character education activity based on the art cooperative activities. The collected data was analyzed by t-test using SPSS 18.0 Statistics Program. The result of this study presented that the character education activity based on cooperative activities has an effect to improve the prospective taking and the emotional intelligence of young children.
