The purpose of this study was to examine if three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development can have an effect on young children s expression activity after inspecting important concept and viewpoint of theory on perception development. The research problems this study were as follows. First, what effect can three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development have an effect on young children s expression life? Second, does the three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development have some relations with the sub region of expression activity (investigation, expression, appreciation). The 40 subjects, aged 5, registered in M kindergarten of Kwangju metropolitan city, were selected for this study and were divided into two groups; the experimental group (10 boys and ten girls), the control group(1 boys and 8 girls). The results of this study were as follows. First, the three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development make a meaningful difference in young children s expression life totally. Second, the three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development was effective in type investigating of young children s expression life. Third, the three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development was effective in the making and decorating of young children s expression life. Fourth, the three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development was effective in appreciating formative work of young children s expression life. Fifth, the three-dimensional formative activity related with theory of perception development will have some relations with the lower sphere of lower sphere of expression life- investigation, expression, and appreciation.
