The purposes of gifted education are to develope the student s potentials to their maxima and make them to contribute to societies. As it is described in the definition of creativity, the ability can produce appropriate output through the novel method’, the development of the creativity is the most important issue in the field of gifted education. The purpose of this study are: 1) to analyze what is the giftedness and what kinds variables are related to the creativity. 2) to find optimal methods to develope the creative problem solving ability. 3) to suggest appropriate curriculums and evaluations by analyzing the ways of creative (including divergent) and critical (including logical & inductive) thinking of some selected group of the gifted students. In this study, some of meaningful results are drawn from the comparisons of the way of creative and critical thinking between the gifted- and normal students at each step of problem-solving situations. Some meaningful distinctions were observed between the two students groups in creative problem-solving abilities and tenacity in the given task and the results are summarized as following, The processing of creative problem solving could apply to various situation and improve divergent thinking and inductive thinking. It also can be a solution for the problems of curriculum in science gifted education. In reality, gifted students acquire high point on the tests of creative problem solving and finding in science and the creative behavior checklist in science conducted between gifted students and normal students.
