‘Oneness’ in the Sense of Becoming Involved in the Dan-gun Mythology as Contrasted with ‘Genesis’

The paper concerns on the differences between mythologies and the Genesis, and then has taken three senses of ‘becoming’ seriously, which are dubbed as ‘making’, ‘creation’, and ‘convergence’. Some confusions between making and creation have been found in the examination of ‘Genesis’, which show us the logical defects. By contrast, the arguments have demonstrated that the Dan-gun mythology requires the new justifying conceptions. As a result, the concept of ‘oneness’ as the crucial sense of ‘becoming’ has been taken into account. This provides us the significant ground for the particularity of Korean Identity as well as the core value of education such as ‘Hongik-ingan’ to be founded.
