The growth of SK group has been developed on the base in textile industry of Chey Jong Kun and the petrochemistry and information communication of Chey long Hyon. Such this, SK group is different from other industries to share a role of brother, that is, the founder, Chey long Kun prepared the base of SK group to be accept SunKyung textile company from government in 1953. also the second founder of SK group. Chey Jong Hyon has developed more their SK group as growth and development These brothers used the strategy for the first in the field of non-exploit, especially Chey Jong Hyon’s strategy of management is his own philosopy of management “SUPEX quest” to pursue the first class in the new field. We can not specilize only for one industry to live in the globalization age. If SK has been absorbed in textile, SK group will disapear in Korea when textile industry decline like today. But SK formed the vertical systematization of enterprise “from textile industry to petrochemistry” and carried out from vertical to level in mutiple management Today’s growth and development of a big SK group are due to the continuous renovation of skill and exploitation of new manufactured goods, on base of management strategy such as SKMS/SUPEX, also due to its self-renewal and pursuit of continuous change.
