초등학생의 선행학습 유발 요인 분석

An analysis on affecting pre-learning of Elementary student

본 연구는 초등학생의 선행학습 유발 요인을 분석하고 선행학습 해소를 위한 정책적 시사점을 탐색하는 데 주된 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 층화군집추출(stratified cluster sampling method) 방식으로 2015년 5월 2일부터 27일까지 25일 간 전국의 초등학교 6학년 재학생 3,518명과 그에 대응되는 학부모 3,417명을 추출하여 우편 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 일반화선형모델(Hierarchical Generalized Linear Models, HGLM) 분석 방법에 따라 분석이 진행되었다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 선행학습에 있어 가정의 소득수준은 정적인 영향을 미치고 있으나, 모의 연령은 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 사회·심리적 변인군에서는 학생의 지적 호기심과 막연한 불안감, 학부모의 위탁적 동기, 경쟁적 동기, 외재적 동기 등이 정적으로 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째,경쟁적 사회·문화에 대한 학생 인식 및 명문 상급학교 진학에 대한 학생 인식 등이 선행학습 참여에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of affecting elementary students’s pre-learning. To accomplish the purpose of the study, It was extracted by stratified cluster sampling which was 3,518 students from 6th graders of elementary school in Korea and 3,417 parents through survey. The collected data were analyzed by Hierarchical Generalized Linear Models (HGLM) analysis method. The main results of this study were as follows. First, the income level of the family had a static effect on the elementary student’s pre-learning, but the mother’s age had a negative influence on it. Second, it had positive influenced on elementary student’s pre-learning which was intellectual curiosity, vague anxiety, parental consignment motivation, competitive motivation, and external motivation. Third, it had positive influence on elementary student’s pre-learning which was student’s perception of competitive societies & cultures and Prestigious school’s admission.
