자원봉사자 활용증진에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 질적 조사연구

The factors related to the high level of volunteer utilization in community welfare centers : a qualitative approach

이 연구는 질적조사방법을 활용하여 지역사회복지관에서 자원봉사자 활용증진에 영향을 주는 요인들을 파악하고 자원봉사자 활용 활성화방안을 모색해 보는데 주요 목적이 있다. 자원봉사 이탈률이 낮고 자원봉사자가 많은 기관 3곳과 이탈률이 높고 자원봉사자 수가 적은 4개 기관을 선정하여 주요 차이점이 무엇인지 심층면접을 통해 알아보고 발견된 차이점을 토대로 하여 기관이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하였다. 또한 기관들의 요구 사항을 토대로 정책적 측면을 제시하였다.

This study intended to find out the factors related to the high level of volunteer utilization in the Community Welfare Centers through a qualitative approach. A major research question was about how to improve the utilization of volunteers in the Community Welfare Centers. The researcher sought to identify three exemplary Community Centers and four unexemplary Centers and conducted in-depth interview with officials and volunteers in each Center. Interview questions attempted to probe into their volunteer management processes and their demands to the government for the improvement of volunteer programs. The focus of analysis was on the differences in volunteer management processes between two types of Community Centers. Practice and policy implications to improve the volunteer programs were suggested.
