청소년의 인터넷 중독에 관한 연구

Study for violence between parents exposure and internet addiction of adolescents -mediating effect of depression and moderating effect of problem solving-

본 연구는 청소년의 인터넷 중독의 심각성을 인식하고 청소년의 부부폭력노출경험이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향에 있어 우울의 매개효과를 검증하고 우울과 인터넷 중독에 있어서 문제 해결능력의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 청소년의 우울을 유발하는 요인으로 부부폭력노출경험을 검증하였다. 서울ㆍ경기지역의 4개교에서 1학교 당 7개 학급을 선정하여, 총 28개 학급에 있는 전체인원을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였으며 그 결과 총 879명의 응답이 최종분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과 부부폭력노출경험은 청소년의 우울에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다(p<.001). 그러나 우울은 부부폭력 노출 경험과 인터넷 중독의 관계에 있어 유의미한 매개효과를 지니고 있지 않은 것으로 연구 결과 나타났다. 다음으로 우울과 인터넷 중독의 관계에서 문제해결능력의 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 우울과 문제해결능력의 상호작용항이 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타나 조절효과는 검증되지 않았다. 그러나 청소년의 우울 및 문제해결능력의 하위차원 중 개인적통제(p<.001)와 문제해결자신감(p<.01)은 인터넷 중독정도에 유의미한 영향력을 가지고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 문제해결능력은 조절효과라기 보다는 인터넷 중독과 직접적으로 관련을 맺는 변수일 가능성이 높은 것으로 파악되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 청소년의 우울과 인터넷 중독에 효과적으로 개입하기 위한 실천적 개입방향을 제시하였다.

This study investigated the mediating effect of depression on the relationship between parents violence exposure experience and the internet addiction of adolescents. Adding to this, this study uncovered the moderating effect of problem solving capacity on the relationship between depression and internet addiction. A total of 879 students in Seoul were surveyed in 28 classes of 4 schools. The violence between parents exposure experience significantly effect on the internet addiction of adolescents. The mediating effect of depression on this relationship is not revealed, the effect is not significant. Among the subtypes of problem solving inventory, self-control(p<.001) and problem solving confidence(P<.01) turn to having moderating effects. However, accessing-avoiding shows no significant moderating effect. Based on those results, some applications and suggestions are made for effective intervention towards the internet addiction of adolescents.
