사회복지실천가의 근거중심실천의 적용에 대한 인식

The perceptions of social work practitioners toward evidence-based practice : their perceived efficacy and barriers of implementing evidence-based practice

본 연구는 근거중심 사회복지실천 (evidence-based social work practice)에 대한 한국 사회복지실천가들의 인식을 기술함을 목적으로 한다. 사회복지사의 역량강화를 위한 사회복지 실천방법론 교육으로 근거중심실천방법에 의한 프로그램 기획과 평가에 대한 세미나를 개최하였다. 연구의 자료는 세미나에 참석한 사회복지사들이 근거중심실천에 대한 반구조적·반질적 (semi-qualitative) 개방형 질문지에 작성한 것을 활용한 것이다. 본 연구는 근거중심실천방법에 의한 실천현장에서의 적용 시 유용한 점과 어려운 점을 중심으로 사회복지사들의 근거중심실천에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과를 정리하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 윤리적이고 효과적인 사회복지실천을 위한 사회복지사 역량강화로서 근거중심실천방법에 의한 사회복지 보수교육을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to describe perceptions on evidence-based practice among social work practitioners in South Korea. The educational seminar intended to promote social workers empowerment in delivering effective social work practice was conducted with 48 social workers. The seminar focused on developing and evaluating social services and programs incorporating evidence-based practice methods. Based on results from the semi-qualitative survey to which social workers responded, this study particularly reported the perceived efficacy and barriers of implementing evidence-based practice by social work practitioners. The implications for continuing education towards empowering social workers are addressed.
