「谷雲九谷圖」와「谷雲九谷歌」의 비교

A Study on Aspects of Relation between Poetic Scenes and Pictorial Scenes through Comparing Gokungugokdo and Gokungugokga

이 글에서는 ｢곡운구곡도｣ 그림 9점과 그 그림들을 시적 대상으로 하여 김수증을 비롯한 장동 김문 일가 9명이 각각 지은 ｢곡운구곡가｣ 9수를 비교하여 화면상의 풍경과 시적 풍경이 어떠한 관계 양상을 보이는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 화면상의 풍경과 시적 풍경의 관계 양상은 시적 풍경을 이루는 요소들이 화면상의 풍경에서 확인될 수 있는지 그리고 확인될 수 있다면 그 요소들이 어느 정도 되는지에 따라 다음과 같은 세 가지 유형으로 추출 할 수 있다. 즉 부각 관계, 보완 관계, 대체 관계가 바로 그것이다. ｢곡운구 곡가｣ 9수 중에서 시적 풍경이 화면상의 풍경과 부각 관계를 보이는 시는 김창국의 ｢청옥협｣, 김창집의 ｢융의연｣, 홍유인의 ｢첩석대｣ 등으로 모두 3수이다. 시적 풍경이 화면상의 풍경과 보완 관계를 보이는 시는 김수증의 ｢방화계｣, 김창집의 ｢신녀협｣, 김창협의 ｢백운담｣, 김창업의 ｢명월계｣ 등으로 모두 4수이다. 시적 풍경이 화면상의 풍경과 대체 관계를 보이는 시는 김창흡의 ｢명옥뢰｣와 김창직의 ｢와룡담｣ 2수이다. 이 글에서는 분량의 제한 때문에 세 가지 관계 양상에 각각 해당되는 시 2수씩을 선정하여 그림과 구체적으로 비교 분석하였다. 그 과정에서 시적 풍경이 그와 같이 산출된 이유를 추정해 보았다.

In this paper, aspects of the relation between poetic scenes and pictorial scenes are studied by comparing nine pictures of Gokungugokdo and nine poems of Gokungugokga. The aspects of the relation are as follows: the highlighting relation, the supplementing relation, and the replacing relation. Of the nine poems of Gokungugokga, three poems exhibit the highlighting relation between poetic scene and pictorial scene, four poems exhibit the supplementing relation between poetic scene and pictorial scene, and two poems exhibit the replacing relation between poetic scene and pictorial scene.
