공·사립 유치원장의 유치원경영에 대한 학부모의 인식

Parents Recognition on Kindergarten Management by Kindergarten Principal

본 연구는 유아교육기관 중에서 공·사립유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 학부모에게 유아교육기관에 대한 만족도를 알아보고, 공·사립 유치원의 학부모 인식을 분석하여 유치원 경영실태와 문제점을 비교함으로써 원장의 유치원 경영 개선방안을 모색하고자 한다. 이 연구를 위해 대전광역시에 소재하고 있는 공·사립 유치원 5개원을 대상으로 설문지를 배부, 학부모의 인식을 분석하였다. 연구결과 유치원장의 유치원 경영에 대한 학부모의 인식 중 첫째, 원아관리영역은 교사대아동의 비율에 대해서는 보통의 수준으로, 유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 학부모들이 가장 유치원의 정보를 알고 소개를 한다는 점이었다. 또한 공립을 선택하다는 이유에는 교육비가 저렴해서라는 부분이 가장 많은 응답을 보이고 있었다. 둘째, 교육과정 운영관리 면에서는 유아들의 기본적인 생활습관과 태도형성을 할 수 있는 교육을 하길 바라는 학부모님들이 많았으나 사립의 경우는 탐구심이나 창의성적인 사고를 발달시키는 의견도 34.5%나 되었다. 셋째, 교직원 관리영역에서는 ‘아이들을 사랑하는 마음이 있는 교사’를 원하는 의견이 많이 나왔으나 사립유치원에서는 더 많은 학부모님들이 이러한 교사를 원하는 결과가 나왔다. 넷째, 시설 및 관리 영역에서는 아이들이 안전하게 생활할 수 있는 원을 마련해주길 바라며, 다섯째 재정관리 면에서는 유치원 운영비의 쓰임새를 잘 모르는 학부모님들이 공·사립 유치원 대부분인 것으로 나타났으나 공립이 사립에 비하여는 잘 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 학부모관리영역에서는 자녀의 행동에 학부모의 올바른 역할에 대해 교육을 해주길 원하는 공·사립 유치원 학부모들이 많았다.

The purpose of this study is to know the parents satisfaction between the public and the private kindergarten in terms of early stage of childhood education. Thus the aim is to seek the management of principal of kindergarten by comparing the conditions and problems of kindergarten management through analysis of parents recognition both public and the private kindergarten. Firstly, Parents replied Moderately satisfied with the ratio of teacher-child under the area of kindergarten child control of kindergarten principal and Parents replied that they chose pubic kindergarten because the cost is inexpensive. Secondly, the area of curriculum management Parents emphasized on education for basic lifestyle and attitude formation. thirdly, Most parents wanted teacher who loves children, they believe such teacher are reliable of management of teaching staff. fourthly, Parents wanted safe kindergarten where children can play and learn under the area of facilities and equipment management. quintus, parents replied they mostly didn t know about operating expenses of kindergarten under area of financial management of kindergarten principal. sixthly, parents responded to parents education what is needed because they want to lead on the child s behavior and relationship effectively under the area of parents management of kindergarten principal.
