The purpose of this paper is to prove that the non- commutative version of the Singer-Wermer Conjecture is a±rma- tive under certain conditions. Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. We show that if there exists a continuous linear Jordanderivation D : A ! A such that [D(x); x]D(x)3 2 rad(A) for allx 2 A; then D(A) µ rad(A):
