In this paper, using ¯xed point method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following functional equation (k+1)f(x+y)+f(x+¾(y))+kf(¾(x)+y)¡2(k+1)f(x)¡2(k+1)f(y) = 0 with an involution ¾ for a ¯xed non-zero real number k with k 6= ¡1.
