It has been proved that the union of two linear star-con¯gurations in P2 of type s and t for either 3 · t · 10 or ¡t2¢¡1 ·s with 3 · t has maximal Hilbert function. We extend the condition to £ 12¡t2¢¤· s, so that it is true for either 3 · t · 10 or £ 12 ¡t2¢¤· swith 3 · t, which extends the result of [6].
