In this paper we study the in¯niteness of Hilbert 3-class ¯eld tower of real cubic function ¯elds over Fq(T), where q ´ 1 mod 3. We also give various examples of real cubic function ¯elds whose Hilbert 3-class ¯eld tower is in¯nite.
