In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the additive functional inequality ∥f (x 1 +x 2 )+f (x 2 +x 3 )+· · ·+f (x n +x 1 )∥ ≤ ∥tf (x 1 +x 2 +· · ·+x n )∥ in Banach spaces where a positive integer n ≥ 3 and a real number t such that 2 ≤ t < n.
