Purpose : When VCUG examine measure effective dose and find what reduce irradiation of radiation. Materials and method : Measure 1 : Measure irradiation dose when VCUG examine of every 30 patient who select S-hospital for VCUG exam Measure 2 : As measured by the average value of 30 people kV, mAs output value. I measured effective dose when VCUG exam as using phantom Using phantom, PLD located in sexual gland, bone marrow red, the captain, lungs, stomach, bladder, breast, liver, esophageal, thyroid, skin, bone tissues, brain, salivary glands. When the same dose as measured by the physical examination, the actual number of tests and do equate spot image. Measure 3 : Using phantom, to measure the change in dose. Each of the adjustment that SID and collimation also magnification. Results : SID is the higher and higher the effective dose was too low. The magnification is enlargement would not do more, the effective dose was too low. The collimation also the more narrow, effective dose was too low. we can see that lower dose, but considering the sensitivity of the tissue examination, we knew that we need to adjust collimation. Because, absorbed dose is higher within the collimation. Conclusion : The most direct position to take action who radiologist to reduce the risk of medical radiation. When we are shooting radiation, we always think the irradiation dose and trying to have to reduce irradiation dose.
