For any map v : X → Y, the generalized Gottlieb set G(ΣA;X, v, Y) with respect to v is a subgroup of [ΣA, Y). If v : X → Y has a left homotopy inverse u : Y → X, then for any f ∈ G(ΣA; X, v, Y), g ∈ GΣEA; Y, u, X), the function spaces L(ΣA, X; g) and L(ΣA, X; g) have the same homotopy type.
