입센(H. Ibsen)의 「민중의 적」을 통한 민주 시민 교육:

Democratic Civic Education Based on 「An Enemy of the People」by Ibsen: Focused on the Perspectives of Michael Sandel

본 연구에서는 연극을 통하여 민주주의 가치를 형성하도록 하는 모형이다. 연극을 통하여 교육에 적용하는 시도는 많이 연구되고 있으며 현장에서 활발히 적용되고 있다. 하지만 연극의 두 가지 종류인 심리 연극과 사회 연극 중에서 심리 연극이 주로 교육적으로 연구되고 사회 연극은 그 중요성에 비추어 교육적으로 많은 연구가 진행되고 있지 않은 실정이다. 그래서 본 연구는 사회 연극의 대표작이라 할 수 있는 Ibsen의 「민중의 적」을 교육 매체로 선택했고, 현대 민주주의 철학의 대표자라고 할 수 있는 Sandel의 정의 철학을 교육 내용으로 선택하였다. 그래서 입센의 「민중의 적」을 샌델의 사회 정의론 적용하여 교육적으로 전이하였다. 이의 실현을 위하여 구체적 교수학습 내용과 과정, 기법 등을 포함한 교수학습 모형을 제시하였다.

This study researched a model to form democratic values through plays. Attempts to reflect plays to education have been extensively researched; plays are actively reflected in the educational field. However, between psychological and social plays, which are the two kinds of plays, only psychological plays have been reflected to education and social plays are being neglected from education despite its significance. Accordingly, this study selected 「An Enemy of the People」by Henrik Ibsen, which is regarded as one of the representative works of social play, as an educational medium, and selected justice philosophy of Michael Sande, who is one of the representatives of modern democratic philosophy, as educational content; this study reflected justice philosophy of Michael Sande to educationally transfer An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen. To that end, the study suggested a teaching/learning model including specific teaching․ learning elements, steps and techniques.
