중학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지와 메타인지 간의 관계에서 자기결정성 동기의 매개효과

The Mediating Effects of Self-determination Motivation on the Relationship between Parental Autonomy Support and Metacognition of Middle-school Students

본 연구는 부모의 자율성 지지와 메타인지와의 관계에서 자기결정성 동기의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학생 251명을 대상으로 부모의 자율성지지, 자기결정성 동기 및 메타인지 검사를 실시하였다. 이들 변인들 간의 관계를 알아보 기 위해 상관 분석을 실시하였고, 자기결정성 동기의 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 위계적 중다 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 부와 모의 자율성 지지와 자기결정성 동기 및 메타인지 간에 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였고, 부모의 자율성 지지와 메타 인지 간의 관계에서 자기결정성 동기의 부분 매개효과가 검증되었다. 즉 부모의 자율성 지지는 메타인지에 직접 영향을 미치면서 동시에 자기결정성 동기를 부분매개로 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 같은 연구결과는 메타인지에 영향을 미치는 자기결정성 동기와 부모의 자율성 지지에 대한 중재의 중요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of self-determination motivation between parental autonomy support and metacognition of middle school students. 251 middle-school students were surveyed with the Parental Autonomy Support Scale, Self-determination Motivation Scale and Metacognition Scale. Correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship among these variables. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was conducted to test the mediating effects of self-determination motivation. In Conclusions from the results and discussion, there are positive correlations among parental autonomy support, self-determination motivation and metacognition. Self-determination motivation operated as a factor to mediate between the parental autonomy support and metacognition. This mean that parental autonomy support effect both directly and indirectly on metacognition. These results suggest the importance of psychological intervention to improve self-determination motivation and parental autonomy support that affect metacognition.
