This study aimed to exam the effects of a music therapy program on attention deficit and hyperactivity of children with ADHD tendency. Ten subjects were selected through the Abbreviated Symptom Questionnaire: ASQ) and participated in a music therapy program which was composed of 12 sessions. Before and after the music therapy program, the subjects were given two tests of FAIR Attention Test and Korean Personality Inventory for Children(KPI-C) to measure two dependent variables(attention deficit and hyperactivity). Data from the pre- and post-test were analyzed using t-tests and the analyses revealed that the music therapy program was effective in decreasing both attention deficit and hyperactivity of children with ADHD tendency. The results were discussed in relation to previous research and some suggestions were presented for future related research.
