We prove the existence of the positive solution for the nonlinear system of suspension bridge equations with Dirichlet boundary condition and periodic condition utt + uxxxx +av+ = 1 + 1h1(x, t) in (−2 , 2 ) × R,vtt + vxxxx +bu+ = 1 + 2h2(x, t) in (−2 , 2 ) × R,where u+ = max{u, 0}, 1, 2 are small numbers and h1(x, t), h2(x, t) are bounded , -periodic in t and even in x and t and kh1k = kh2k = 1.
